I found these beautiful leaves representing a colorwheel on a walk last week.
Nature is my springboard. From her I get my initial impetus. I have tried to relate the visible drama of mountains, trees, and bleached fields with the fantasy of wind blowing and changing colors and forms.

Fall colors
Sorry for such a long time between posts. Here is a wonderful fall shot from our trip to Maine. I was really obsessed with taking picturs of the fall colors and the Buoys. This shot was too good to pass up.

Fall colours tour-New England here we come!
I'm feeling like a little kid today as my last day before some much needed R~n~R. We head off tomorrow to MA and ME, to visit friends and see and smell the sites of a new england fall. I'm really looking forward to this, Maine is one of those places that you really can't help but to relax and that is just what I plan to do. I'm sure I come back with loads of inspiration, photo's and energy for the upcoming months festivities including the Final Harvest at Red Wiggler, hosting movie club, camping and Halloween (my favorite holiday...). See you soon.

Reflection on Summer-Autumnal Equinox

"Autumn's pleasures and rituals revolve around the gathering of abundance in preparation for the winter to come...The same stirring that inspires animals to burrow deep into the earth compels us to celebrate the rich bounty we instinctively know will not appear again until springtime...
Apearances deceive in autumn. The transformations undergone by living beings seem much more like endings than the transitions they really are. Dormancy, not death, is the hallmark of fall...but remember to rejoice in the beauty of nature where every finale serves as an overture for a new beginning." ~Daily Om
